I like to lead a design team with a collaborative approach, but am also happy to sit in my own world to create.
I am from London, but frequently travel abroad to work for international artists and shows.
I have made TV titles and in programme content as well as work for advertising, limited Cinema releases and music videos and record label content. My clients and brands I have created work for include: BBC, Channel 4 and its music channels; Nike, Premiere Inn, Jaguar, MG, Island Records, Formula 1, Ferrari; artists such as Rolling Stones, U2, Placebo, Annie Lennox and lots more.
Over recent years I have moved primarily into creating video for live performance, be it screen and stage visuals or more complex projection mapping.
I have made large scale screen content and projection mapped visuals for some of the worlds biggest bands, international sporting ceremonies and large scale theatre productions. These shows have taken me to Kazakhstan, Peru, and a few places in between!
If you actually get this far… (!) My career in video stems from a lifelong passion for drawing, painting and making. I like to use mixed media and blend digital, analog and traditional craft techniques in my practice wherever possible. I didn’t even know what after effects was until I was 19. I work in both 2D and 3D, and also hand drawn and stop frame animation, use found archive footage and make many of my own film and light effects from scratch. I think this helps to keep a ‘real’ quality to my work, I like to always keep one step away from a too-digital feel if possible.
